Welcoming LearnUpon as a Partner

A New Partnership

We are delighted to announce that Avista Foundation has been selected as a partner organisation for ActUpon, the new Corporate Social Responsibility programme launched by Dublin-based learning technology company LearnUpon. This is a partnership we are excited about, and one that is already making a real difference to how we operate and communicate.

About ActUpon

ActUpon is LearnUpon's first official CSR programme, designed to build deeper, more sustainable partnerships with local non-profit organisations. Rather than passive funding, the programme brings the time, skills, and energy of LearnUpon's team, applied directly to the causes they have chosen to support. Avista Foundation is proud to be their Dublin pilot partner.

What the Partnership Means in Practice

The support from LearnUpon has been practical and immediate. A laptop donation has already strengthened our technical infrastructure, and funds collected through LearnUpon's Return-it initiative are being directed to Avista Foundation to support essential capital projects.

This August, LearnUpon's team will join us for a volunteer day across our services. Alongside general upkeep and care of our centres, their creative team will provide professional photography and video services to help us capture the work we do every day and strengthen our public presence. Other volunteers will bring their strategic expertise to help us tell our story more effectively. This is something that will have a lasting impact on how we communicate our mission and reach potential donors and partners.

"Having the hands-on support of their team this August is invaluable. But what makes this collaboration stand out is the ongoing nature of the partnership. This level of support will fundamentally change how we operate and communicate."

Jesse Kennedy, Director of Development, Avista Foundation

A Partnership Built to Last

What sets this partnership apart is its depth. This is not a once-off contribution. ActUpon is designed for sustained, skills-based engagement, and we are excited about what that means for the people we support across Avista services. Partnerships like this one reflect exactly the kind of community investment that helps organisations like ours go further than we could alone.

We are deeply grateful to LearnUpon for choosing Avista Foundation, and we look forward to sharing more about the work we will do together in the months ahead.
